The 27th Diário de Coimbra League, an event co-organized by Diário de Coimbra and the Coimbra City Council, takes place on City Day, July 4th. A renewed route through the heart of the city. This year’s race presents a renewed, more demanding route passing through some of Coimbra’s most emblematic locations. The start is on Rua da Sofia and the finish line is located in Praça 8 de Maio, in front of the Coimbra City Hall. The route runs through the Baixa and Alta areas, providing a sporting experience in a celebratory atmosphere, simultaneously valuing the urban heritage and the city’s way of life.
