Coimbra City Council buys building in Beco do Bacalhau for 100 thousand euros
On July 18, Coimbra City Council formalized the purchase of an urban building in Beco do Bacalhau, next to Rua Direita, in the city centre, for 100,000 euros, as part of the exercise of the right of first refusal.
The deed of purchase and sale was signed between the municipality and the five owners of the building, intended for residential use, with a ground floor and three floors. The property has a tax value of 51,732.42 euros and is registered in the urban matrix under article 330, the result of the former article 157 of the former parish of Santa Cruz.
The right of first refusal was activated under a proposal approved by the City Council on June 6, as part of the strategy to enhance and boost the city’s historic area.
