Terreiro da Erva hosts “Kukumobil” workshop on wheels until April 10th

The Terreiro da Erva was the place chosen by Coimbra City Council (CM) to host the “Kukumobil” workshop on wheels from today, March 12, until April 10, which aims to promote tapestry as a traditional artistic expression with contemporary features. This project, which has been touring Europe since 2024, is promoted by the artist Andrea Milde, who transports a loom out of the workshop and integrates it into the public space. For a month, the local community is invited to take part in themed workshops related to weaving. The program will be presented soon.
