Encontros Mágicos are back in Coimbra

The Magic Encounters are returning to Coimbra from September 16 to 21. The largest and oldest Portuguese magic festival, organized by the Coimbra City Council (CM), with artistic direction by Luís de Matos, presents six days of intense programming, with a focus on spreading the art of creating illusions to different audiences. Tickets for the international galas of the 29th edition of Encontros Mágicos – Coimbra International Magic Festival are now on sale.

On September 19 and 20, the stage of the Grand Auditorium of the Convento São Francisco will host some of today’s best magicians in the traditional International Magic Galas of Encontros Mágicos. Tickets are on sale at the Convento São Francisco box office and at Ticketline.

The prices range from 20 euros for the 2nd Box and Balcony to 22.50 euros for the 1st Box and Orchestra Seats.

Purchasing tickets for people with reduced mobility should be done by contacting the Convento São Francisco box office – daily, between 3pm and 8pm, on 239 857 191 or by e-mail [email protected]. People with a reduced mobility ticket are entitled to a free ticket for their companion.

The Magic Encounters are divided into five lines of action: Street Magic (in the city center), Magic in the Region (shows in the parishes), Solidarity Magic (in two institutions), the Magic School (for children aged six to 12, including a “special” session) and two International Magic Galas.
