Country’s first Casa do Bairro inaugurated in the heart of downtown Coimbra

The Casa do Bairro was inaugurated today, September 16, in the heart of downtown Coimbra, a space that marks the start of the @Baixa Coimbra project, as part of the Digital Business Neighborhoods program, funded by the PRR and developed in consortium by the Municipality of Coimbra, the Agency for the Promotion of Downtown Coimbra (APBC) and CoimbraMaisFuturo. The inauguration, the first in the country under this program, was attended by the Mayor of Coimbra, José Manuel Silva, representatives of the partner entities, members of the Directorate-General for Economic Activities (DGAE) and several traders.
