Coimbra City Council awarded project to make downtown more digital and attractive for more than 400 thousand euros
The @Baixa Coimbra – “Digital Shopping Districts” project was awarded on June 17th, in the Salão Nobre dos Paços do Concelho, to the group of companies Helenos, SA and Tomi World, Lda, for a value of 415,207.30 euros and with an execution period of 120 days. The group of companies is, therefore, responsible for implementing in the city’s downtown a set of technological and digital solutions defined in the approved application for the “Digital Shopping Districts” financing line, of the Recovery and Resilience Plan (RRP), promoted jointly by the Coimbra City Council (CM), the Agency for the Promotion of Downtown Coimbra and CoimbraMaisFuturo. The award was attended by the Mayor, José Manuel Silva, the Councillor for Urban Rehabilitation, Ana Bastos, the Councillor for Commerce and also for Entrepreneurship, Investment and Employment, Miguel Fonseca, and the municipal services involved.
