Santa Claus on Wheels in downtown Coimbra

The Baixa de Coimbra district will host the “Santa Claus on Wheels” event on December 14th, which will travel through Praça 8 de Maio, Rua Visconde da Luz, and Rua Ferreira Borges, in a joint initiative with Encontros Clássicos Coimbra, between 11:00 AM and 5:30 PM.

The program also includes the participation of Tribo da Dança Portugal, which will perform an artistic intervention between 4:00 PM and 5:00 PM, passing through Largo da Portagem, Rua Ferreira Borges, and Praça 8 de Maio.

The initiative includes a solidarity component, promoting the collection of non-perishable food items for the Centro de Solidariedade Social O Pátio, intended to support families identified by the institution. The organizers remind that local businesses will remain open during the weekends, offering various Christmas suggestions for visitors and consumers.
