Le musée municipal organise un colloque sur la reine Isabelle le 13 mai

Next Wednesday, May 13, the Municipal Museum of Coimbra – Chiado Building will host the colloquium “Eu Dona Isabel, Rainha de Portugal,” an initiative dedicated to reflecting on the life, actions, and legacy of Saint Queen Isabel. Part of the program of the eponymous exhibition, on display at the Torre de Almedina | Núcleo da Cidade Muralhada until May 23, as well as commemorating the 400th anniversary of the canonization of Saint Queen Isabel (1625–2025) and the 700th anniversary of her pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela (1325–2025), the colloquium will bring together specialists from different fields for a multidisciplinary approach to this historical figure.
