Easter in Coimbra celebrates tradition, sweets and music for all ages

The Easter celebration program in Coimbra starts next Friday, April 4, and runs until April 26, combining cultural, gastronomic, religious and urban entertainment activities for all ages. The program was presented today, April 2, in the Terreiro da Erva by the mayor of Coimbra, José Manuel Silva, and representatives of other entities involved, and is divided into four main events: “Coimbra Doce” (April 4 to 20); “Flavours and Sounds of Easter” (April 16 to 26); “Coimbra Holy Week” (April 13 to 21) and “Baixa o Som” (April 18 and 19).
