The @Baixa project will transform and revitalize this historic area of the city

The mayor of Coimbra, José Manuel Silva, today, December 11, called the @Baixa municipal project, part of the Digital Shopping Neighbourhoods program, “profoundly transformative” and an opportunity to revitalize and build a new future for the city’s downtown. “It’s a major investment in the modernization of Baixa, in digital accessibility and in promoting its image in a positive and constructive way as a large open-air shopping center, with enormous diversity,” said the mayor during the visit to Coimbra by the Secretary of State for the Economy, João Rui Ferreira, as part of the Digital Shopping Neighbourhoods Day.
