The 2026 Flower and Plant Festival will take place in downtown Coimbra on Sunday the 16th, between 10:00 AM and 6:30 PM. The event, promoted by the Coimbra City Council, will have Praça 8 de Maio and Praça do Comércio as its central locations, with festivities extending to other streets featuring flower carpets created in collaboration with local associations. The program also includes flower and plant exhibitions, traditional gastronomy, and cultural entertainment, all aimed at celebrating nature. Details will be presented tomorrow, the 12th, at a press conference.
