The Coimbra City Council carried out maintenance work yesterday, August 6th, on the academic cap installation on Rua Adelino Veiga and Largo do Paço do Conde. The intervention allowed for the replacement of approximately 200 light bulbs and 40 caps, ensuring better operating conditions and image of this urban installation, which has been contributing to the vibrancy of that area in downtown Coimbra. The installation, inspired by the city’s academic tradition, illuminates Rua Adelino Veiga and Largo do Paço do Conde with suspended caps decorated with the colors of the different faculties, creating a distinctive element that beautifies the public space.
