Training: 𝗙𝗼𝘁𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗳𝗶𝗮 𝗗𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗱𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝘁𝗼𝘀 𝗚𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗻ó𝗺𝗶𝗰𝗼𝘀 – 𝗦𝗲𝘀𝘀õ𝗲𝘀 𝗣𝗿á𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘀

The @Baixa Coimbra project, funded under the Digital Business Neighborhoods initiative, continues to promote free, certified training courses for traders in downtown Coimbra, with the aim of strengthening skills in the areas of innovation, business strategy, security, communication and digital promotion. The training sessions are held in partnership with the Coimbra School of Hospitality and Tourism and are part of Turismo de Portugal’s Training +Próxima program.

In February, a practical training course will begin, led by Pedro Cerqueira, dedicated to enhancing gastronomic products through image.

The action “Digital Photography of Gastronomic Products – Practical Sessions” will take place on February 16 and 23 and March 2 and 4, from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., at the Coimbra School of Hospitality and Tourism.

This training aims to provide participants with practical skills in digital photography, applied to the promotion and communication of gastronomic products.

Objectives

• Photographing gastronomic products in an appealing and professional way;
• Controlling natural and artificial light in simple environments;
• Composing images suitable for different channels and platforms;

• Introduction to Gastronomic Photography: photographing gastronomic products; applications: and styles of gastronomic photography
• Examples and analysis of images
• Equipment and Essential Settings
• Light in Gastronomic Photography and most common mistakes
• Gastronomic Composition and Styling
• Photography of Specific Products (hot; drinks; desserts..)
• Practical exercises

The issuing of the certificate is conditional on active participation in at least 90% of the training hours.
